In the Spring of 2007, Robert Gwin, Bob Steinmetz, Don Miller, Bruce Baird and Bill Donnell set out to create a new civil litigation defense firm founded on one guiding principle – unwavering commitment to client service. [See our news & press release.]
Located along the waterfront business district of Louisville, Kentucky, Gwin Steinmetz Miller & Baird, PLLC opened on April 30, 2007. Shortly thereafter, Chris Mussler joined as a member of the firm and 10 associate and of-counsel attorneys were added to help meet the needs of the firm’s rapidly expanding client base. The attorneys of GSMB were drawn primarily from the litigation sections of large regional firms, Brown Todd & Heyburn and Frost Brown Todd. All possess significant courtroom experience, having tried over 325 cases while representing individuals and companies before trial and appellate courts across the region.
